Course Details
The course will take you through every essential area of managing carbon emissions, from the basics of climate change and carbon accounting to life cycle assessment and carbon offsetting, setting you up to be a professional carbon manager.
You will learn how to integrate operational efficiency with carbon reduction approaches, design and implement whole-of-organisation carbon management response plans, construct green marketing briefs and policy, and understand the fundamentals of carbon accounting, compliance, reporting and life cycle assessment.
The course incorporates the content of our shorter courses on carbon accounting and carbon offsetting. Applying this knowledge, the strategic carbon management course progresses into the structure of carbon management systems, the implications for staff adaptation and ensuring your organisation meets ESG requirements.

Course Format Online: 2 extra modules x 1.5 hours per session
Course Format In-Person: 5 days, scheduled to suit
Course Prerequisites: Must have completed the carbon accounting and carbon offset course - 8 modules.
Course Cost: $2299 incl GST per person (negotiable depending on number of participants)
Completion: To receive a Statement of Attainment, a series of workbooks and a formal assessment will need to be completed.
